Everything AND the Kitchen Sink ...

My hubby and I love eating at Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club Resort whenever we are at Disney World. We have never ordered The Kitchen Sink ourselves, but when I went with my sister, Wren, and my niece, Lauren, and her best friend ... well they wanted to try it. Here is a layout I did on this momentous occasion!

This is 8 scoops of ice cream, bananas, pieces of pound cake, oreos, brownies & a Snickers candy bar, caramel, pineapple sauce, chocolate fudge sauce, a full can of whip cream, sprinkles and a hand full of cherries. They also have fantastic cheeseburgers and chicken sandwiches, onion rings and awesome sundaes. Having the Kitchen Sink once was enough for me ... but it sure looks good, doesn't it???

A Few Weekends Ago...

I had the most wonderful time scrapping with my sweet friend, Robyn, and a bunch of awesome ladies at The Scrapbooking Factory crop a few weekends ago. I got so many things done and took a great class from Jane. I wasn't able to post until now since I had to wait for these items, which were gifts, to get to Wren & Kinsley.

I made this layout in the class Jane taught and sent it to my sweet niece, Kinsley, to use for her bridal shower this past weekend.

I had never made one of these cards before but saw some on different blogs and thought I would give it a try. I liked how it turned out and hope Kinsley likes it for her bridal shower.

The last thing I finished was a Disney album for Sissy ... I think she can find some pictures for it!

The album was made with the new Magic line from Queen & Co.

Trying to "See" the Sunshine through the Rain!

We are having A LOT of rain here and can't wait to see the sunshine ... hence the title for this post.

I am entering the cards in a "Bling Challenge" for Practical Scrappers. First time participating here, but my friend and someone who inspires me, Wanda, said I should enter these cards ... so here they are.

I haven't made any cards in so long! I made these for two very special friends who always bring sunshine into my life!
I used a digital stamp from Scrapbook Boutique Digitals called Pocket-Full-O-Sunshine and the patterned paper on the bottom is from DCWV Blossoms & Butterflies stack. The lime, orange & pink cardstock is just from HL. I used the Swiss Dot & Stylized Flower Embossing folders with my Cuttlebug. On the digital stamp I used Copic Markers, Copic atyou Spica Pens, and, of course, stickles!! I added orange bling gems to the top.

I used a digital stamp from Pink Cat Studio called Lady Bug on Flower and the Somebuggy Loves U stamp. The stamps were colored with Copic Markers, Copic atyou Spica Pens, and sei chalks. I used the Oval & Oval Scalloped Nestabilities, Martha Stewart punch, orange, yellow & blue cardstock from HL and background stripe paper from DCWV Citrus matstack. I added stickles and blue gems for bling.

 Thanks for looking! :)

Weekly Challenge at MouseScrappers

I finished the layout below for a challenge on MouseScrappers where we were given some pictures to inspire us to create a layout. I picked this picture:
I just love the colors in this picture (this was taken at the Flower & Garden Show at Disney World). Once I saw this picture another picture immediately popped into my head and I created this layout for the challenge:

Do you remember this picture? Look at the post before this one. Thanks for looking. :)

Dad is doing great! Praise God!

Just want to update and say thank you for your prayers! Dad is doing great! They did have to change his chemo schedule, but I think it works best for him. He is doing wonderfully well. I was so worried about being strong enough and just asked God to calm me so I could be there without fear of failing them. Well, I ended up having some really funny conversations with my dad and was very relaxed. I am just so blessed to be able to be there for them. Thank you Lord. :)

I got home yesterday and looked at all the challenge sites to see what new challenges were started. Here is one I started today to show how we love Epcot.
Thanks for looking and most of all ... thank you for your prayers. :)
