My Boo Book Acrylic Album class went great!

This was the first class I have taught for Jane at The Scrapbooking Factory and I couldn't of had a more wonderful group of women.

I had so much fun with this project and loved sharing it with these ladies. Y'all were a hoot!!!
Here they are with their finished albums!

Now I'm off to work on next month's class ... will have that here soon. Thanks for looking!

Working on Unfinished Projects ... During Down Time :)

Well, it seems as though I was meant to spend the month of October getting over a sinus infection &  bronchitis. I'm finally feeling a bit like myself again so I thought I would put some finishing touches on some of my projects that have been waiting patiently to be finished.

I made this Disney "Mickey Parts" word book some time ago with my Cricut using the George & the Mickey & Friends cartridges. Every year I go to the Dream Events SDV in Orlando so I used this word book to remember last year's SDV event.

This event is ALWAYS so much fun ... can't wait for next year... now I just have to get this year's put together. :)

On to my next project.

October Crop Class at Jane's Monthly Crop!

For the month of October, I will be teaching a class at Jane's crop with a kit she has put together from My Mind's Eye. I will be making a "boo book" using the BoBunny acrylic album & My Mind's Eye "Boo To You" line. I also made an "interactive" layout and a card using this same kit and still have plenty left over for more! You can pick up this kit soon at The Scrapbooking Factory

The "Boo Book" acrylic album class:

This is put together with BoBunny Acrylic Album
My Mind's Eye - Boo To You
Black Glitter Letter Thickers
Individual made Transparencies
Orange &Black Staz-On
Orange, Black, & Lime acrylic paint
Orange & Black Tulle
Martha Stewart's Goo Border Punch
Dowel & Raffia

Some pictures of the individual pages.

These are extra things I made with this kit. I just added the lime (cucumber) glitter Thicker alphabet.
Interactive Layout: Just slide the spider on the bottom up and "Boo" appears next to the ghost.

These are pictures of the card I made.

Back From an Awesome Trip to Houston

I'm finally posting about my trip to the Houston Exbedition & Trade Show. Before leaving last week I was getting over a bad sinus infection and then spent my time in Houston developing bronchitis! All that aside, I had a wonderful time with Jane and Dianna making some new friends, seeing some gorgeous and exciting products and taking some awesome classes.

First, I was sooooo excited to meet up with Joey Otlo from Bazzill. I was fortunate enough to take a class with Joey and will be teaching a class on the mini album we made. I first met Joey at the scrap cruise I took from Memories Across the Miles in February and had a great time catching up with her.

I also took three classes from Tim Holtz and walked away with my head exploding with ideas! I absolutely love all Ranger products and look forward to teaching some classes at Jane's crops. I was also plesantly surprised at how humble and down to earth Tim is. He's the first to admit that all his products aren't for everyone ... in other words it may not "freak your freak" ... but I guess I'm just freaky cause I enjoy it all! Oh, and he's a Disney fanatic so you know he's number 1 in my book!! LOL

Here are some pictures of things we saw: 10 Second Studios (metal - awesome) & Prima (beautiful)

But the best is last ... friends ... priceless! Don't you know the only picture I had with all three of us together is with Tim Holtz! :)

I'm Off .......

I'm so excited! I will be attending a vendor fair & trade show in Houston with Jane from The Scrapbooking Factory. We are signed up for ALOT of make-n-takes, product reviews, classes, classes, and more classes. I even have a few Ranger classes taught by Tim Holtz ... OMG! I absolutely love his proucts and can't wait to see some new items. I'm also taking a Bazzill class taught by Joey!!! I haven't seen her since our scrap cruise so I am major excited about that too.

Well, I'll check back in next week and post some pictures and some of the cute things we learned and brought back.

Cheryl :)
