Challenges at Mouse Scrappers

First, I want to thank you for your compliments to my scrap room (post below this). I'm just glad all the picture taking is done cause once I start a project it gets messy fast! Thanks again! Now, on to this post ...

I'm going to try and finish some of the Template, Kit and Weekly Challenges over at Mouse Scrappers today. I'll just keep posting them as I finish. I actually finished this Template Challenge last night. I used "Acorn Club Kit" by Natalie's Place Designs and the template is by Denise (agrievingmommy) who is hosting this challenge.

The layout below is for the Kit Challenge at Mouse Scrappers. This is the first time I have done this challenge and what fun it was. The kit is Spring Fling by Natalie's Place Designs.

I just finished a Weekly Challenge at Mouse Scrappers by Denise (agrievingmommy). In this challenge you were to use at least four different designers/kits. I used Mouse House by Dreamsfulfilled, I Love That Mouse and  Modern Magic by Kellybell Designs, Happy by Chelle's Creation, Defining Me by Trixie Scraps, Just Plain Fun by Britt-ish Designs, and Belshaw, Arnprior & Disney Park fonts.














I'll be back with more pages and actually did start on my Tim Holtz configuration box project ... I'm combining two of my favorite things ... Tim Holtz and Disney! I know, what a surprise ... ha!

Just a Couple of Challenge Layouts

These are a couple of layouts I did for the template challenges at Mouse Scrappers. I just love staying at Bay Lake Towers when at Disney and this was a fun layout to do. I used a new kit "Are We There Yet?" by Kellybell Designs. This kit comes out tomorrow so drop by again tomorrow and check it out.

I knew just what pictures I wanted to use when I saw this template. I used "Inspired by Cindy" and "Flitterific Kit" by Kellybell Designs. These pictures were taken in August at the Dream Come True parade in Magic Kingdom. We had a fantastic spot to enjoy this parade and just take pictures.

Another Halloween Layout

I just finished this layout for a Template Challenge at MouseScrappers. I used a brand new kit called "Not So Scary" by Kellybell Designs. If you love scrapping Disney then you have got to check out her store ... it has everything you would need to do just that ... magical! :)

Weekly Challenge at MouseScrappers

This layout is for a weekly challenge at MouseScrappers. I used a couple of kits for this layout ... "Spooktastic Kit" and "Frightful Kit" both by Natalie's Place Designs. She came out with three Halloween kits (the third is "Haunted") and you can get them all from the above link. These pictures are from my latest SDV scrap trip to Walt Disney World. It is always so magical when all of a sudden the Halloween decorations appear ... ah, only at Disney!

A Few of My Favorite Things ...

Well, happy October everyone! I'll start by saying that I'm not into Halloween at all, but I absolutely love the colors in the Halloween kits. I'm enjoying designing my own blog and this month I'm using the digital kit "Boo-tiful Night" by Trixie Scraps and JennCK Designs.

I also just finished a template challenge at MouseScrappers and for this layout I used the "Hollywood Vacation" kit and "Essential Disney" kit by Kellybell Designs. These are just a few of my favorite things at Epcot ... I have more favorite things there, of course!

Speed Scrap Minnie Marathon at MouseScrappers this Weekend!!!

If you love Disney and digital scrapbooking then head over to MouseScrappers starting tomorrow for a Speed Scrap Minnie Marathon. I'm so glad that I'm going to Disney World next month because I need more pictures for all the template challenges, weekly challenges, and speed scraps I participate in at MouseScrappers.

If you have never participated in a Speed Scrap ... now is the time. There will be many opportunities and you get some of the most fantastic participation prizes from the best digital scrapbooking designers. All my favorites are hosting a speed scrap so I'm very excited. The first time I participated in a Speed Scrap I was so nervous, but some of my favorite layouts have come from them. Just pop over here for some tips on how to speed scrap. The main thing is to enjoy it and don't stress about anything.

Well, I guess everyone knows what I'll be doing this weekend ... hope to see you there!

Finishing Up Some Challenges ...

I finished a template challenge on MouseScrappers where I used some of my older pictures. These are from June of 2006. We were at Chef Mickey's and the guys didn't want to participate in the "napkin wave" at the restaurant. They finally got into it and it was such fun ...

This next layout is for a Weekly Challenge at MouseScrappers. This is from last year and we are coming up on our annual scrapbooking trip to Disney. This is at 'Ohana's restaurant at the Polynesian Resort. This will be our first dinner this year ... get off the plane ... check-in ... go to 'Ohana!!

Notice the tiara on each of our heads. We wore them the whole trip and had a blast. All our children would have been so embarassed ... life is made for silliness sometimes!

Just finished this challenge and used some pictures from a2008 trip. I love using red, white and blue in layouts. It always looks so tidy!! Aren't our liberty girls just too cute! The kit I used is "Made in America" by Britt-ish Designs and her new "Awesome Blue Alpha". She is one of my absolute favorite designers.

Whew! Here is my last layout of the day. I just got this kit called "Gettin' Wild" from Natalie's Place Designs. Check out her blog ... it is awesome.

It's Been A While!

I've been real busy lately and haven't even had time to get my challenges done at MouseScrappers. Here is one I just finished. These pictures are from 2007 and when I ran across them I knew the perfect paper to use for it. This kit is called "The Happiest Place" by Meg Mullens at Scrap Orchard.

I've Been Busy ...

Like I said yesterday, I had some challenges to catch up on. The layout below is for a Mousescrappers template challenge.

These pictures were taken at the MNSSHP last year and I fell in love with the carriage with all the pumpkins around it.

My First Speed Scrap Layout

Wow! I'm surprised I was able to still participate in this Speed Scrap. A lot of things happening today on very little sleep.

This was exciting! We were given instructions at 1PM, 1:15PM, 1:30PM, 1:45PM and 2PM. It was funny how at 2PM when I read the instructions, I had already added those elements to the layout .. Whew!
